The legendary Baldwin Artist Grand series was considered a competitor to Steinway, and a favorite of legendary performers such as Dave Brubek and Bruce Hornsby, and famous composers including John Williams and Leonard Bernstein. This 6’3″ Model L piano lives up to that heritage with a powerful, dynamic tone, and an expressive yet delicate touch. Manufactured for many years in the United States, this piano was hand-built in Conway, Arkansas in 2001. The finish is polished ebony, rare on an American grand piano, and easy to maintain and repair when necessary.
This piano also features the Baldwin Concertmaster Player system. Although outdated by today’s standards, it’s easy to operate and works great. Plus, we’ve upgraded it with new Bluetooth connectivity so it’s now compatible with some of the latest digital technology, including PianoStream for iOS!
MSRP for this piano at the time of its construction was well over $40,000. American-made Baldwin pianos are becoming hard to find and this one is a gem and an incredible value for a high-performance player grand piano! Today’s new Baldwin pianos are made in China and are far inferior in terms of quality, performance, and durability.
The purchase of this fine instrument includes full preparation and tuning, a height-adjustable matching artist bench, and a complimentary in-home tuning. We can deliver to any point in Utah and to destinations beyond.
